Presenting one of our more creative projects for 2024 - Kowhai AI - a cutting edge AI and machine learning consultancy service based in New Zealand.
The company wanted a new, fresh, modern looking website that clearly showed visitors what Kowhai could do, along with clear call to actions throughout the site.
HLD created a colour theme based on the supplied logo designs, and added a distinctive creative touch with interactive particles on the home page (which both we and the client love!), as well as hover effects for the main navigation links and buttons.
Background animations were also added to each page header to continue the look, and the use of yellow to make information sections and call-to-action buttons ‘pop’.
We also suggested and implemented the online booking software Acuity Scheduling as a more streamlined (and better looking!) option than the basic embedded Zoho form.
The site design process took two weeks from start to launch, including fine-tuning the design and arranging an online tutorial so the team at Kowhai would feel confident making content changes moving forward.
Not every website needs animation, but for some it really can enhance the brand presence. From interactive particles to a small burst of confetti when a visitor clicks the ‘add to cart’ button, little touches make your site unique.
